Exam Week and Holidays

The Golf Lab will be open throughout exam week.

We will not be open over the Christmas/New Years Holidays.

Snow Day!

Unfortunately, the golf lab is closed today because of inclement weather.
The College Campus is closed so we aren't able to open. All scheduled times today are therefore cancelled.
Enjoy a day of skiing/snowboarding/hockey/homework!!

Winter Golf!

We will be opening on Monday, November 29th. 

After a great fall golf season, it seems all local courses have shut down and we're into the simulator golf season. 

Bookings will be available starting this weekend for Monday. It will be the same procedure as last year and the rules will be posted here as soon as the booking system is available. Happy simulated golfing!

Automatic Booking Is Back Online!

We are happy to announce that just in time for the last couple weeks of the simulator season we've fixed all our issues with the automatic booking software (knock on wood!) It is once again located on the right side of the screen. Click on Appointment and follow the instructions!

Golf Lab Management

Usage Limits

As we expected, the Georgian Golf Lab has become quite popular and bookings have increased substantially. Because of this we have decided to institute some limits on usage.
So far the only change is that we are limiting each person to two hours per day maximum. The bookings will be monitored and any bookings of more than 2 hours per day by any one person will be removed. That does not mean that you can book two hours and have a friend book the next two hours. Please respect the intention of the rule, to free up time for more people to use this great resource. We are relying on you, as honest golfers, to not "cheat the system" by having friends book for you. Any instances reported of this will result in suspension of privileges.

This change will take effect Monday, February 22, 2010.

Winter Semester 2010 - New Rules

Golf Lab Users,

We are trying to streamline the booking process to benefit all of our users and also to create new opportunities for easily expanding our services provided. With these goals in mind, the management staff has come up with some new rules that we will be implementing when we open on week 2 of the semester.

Rules for the Georgian Golf Lab

1.  No walk-ins. All appointments must be booked in advance. This is to avoid disruption of customers who have gone through the proper booking procedure and do not want to be disturbed during their allotted time.
2. Not showing up for an appointment will result in revoked golf lab privileges for one week. Continued abuse will result in further loss of privileges. To cancel an appointment in advance (not for that day) please email georgiancgolflab@gmail.com with your name and the timeslot you had booked. If you cannot make an appointment the day of then please contact the golf lab technician on duty, as soon as you know. The number is 705-728-1968 ext 1256. If there is no answer, please leave a voicemail message with your name and the time you are unable to show up for.
3. At this time we will not limit how many timeslots you can book in one month, week or day. Please do remember that the lab is for use by all. When bookings greatly increase then limits may need to be imposed.
4. The lab is limited to a maximum of four guests at a time.
5. No lab use during your scheduled class time.
6. No outdoor footwear in the lab. Please bring indoor shoes as the specialized flooring is very difficult to clean.
7. No food or drinks in the lab. 

Winter Semester 2010

The golf lab will not be open for the first week of classes this semester. We will be using that week to finalize the schedule and allowing everyone to return to classes and get settled. As soon as we have the schedule finalized for employees we will have the booking system ready to take appointments. Please check back next week!
